Paesaggi Musicali Toscani, is the classical music festival that, thanks to the presence of great artists of international renown, offers concerts of the highest quality in the places of the Val d’Orcia, defined as among the most beautiful in the world.
Here the landscape, shaped through the centuries by the good stewardship of men, conveys the harmony of an auteur’s musical score, and life follows the classical rhythms of the seasons as if under the skillful guidance of a conductor.
The beautiful monuments of San Quirico, the Collegiate Church, the Pieve di S. Maria, the Palazzo Chigi, the Horti Leonini, and the medieval baths of Bagno Vignoni are the splendid and natural setting for the concerts. In the surroundings of San Quirico, striking places and enchanting landscapes have been assumed as true icons of Tuscany in the world. These places and landscapes will be the setting for the musical events accompanied by wine tastings and samplings of the best of Sanquirico’s gastronomic traditions.
The festival is full of special and unforgettable musical moments that will be brought to life by internationally renowned artists, who for decades have been playing in the world’s major theaters and recording for major record labels, together with young performers, winners of recent international competitions.
Tuscan Musical Landscapes is an event of the Municipality of San Quirico d’Orcia, in collaboration with Milano Classica and the cultural association “Musica Insieme.”
